Adult Trauma Therapy

Individual trauma therapy for adults typically involves assessment, treatment planning, psychoeducation, skill building, trauma reprocessing and post-traumatic growth. This can be delivered using a range of modalities to ensure a highly personalized experience.

Child & Adolescent Trauma Therapy

Individual trauma therapy for children and adolescents follows the same basic structure as for adults, but is delivered in an age-appropriate and often play-based manner. Parent involvement is essential and expected.

Family Trauma Therapy

Trauma never impacts just the person who directly experienced it. Family and friends are often left wanting to support their loved one or experience their own vicarious trauma. Family sessions can help all involved learn how to support each other and build resilience as group.

Trauma Intensives

For those who have been in therapy before and developed skills but still seek resolution to trauma symptoms, an trauma intensive can be a good fit. This program involves a time-limited experience of multiple sessions per week. Readiness is assessed before acceptance to this program.

Diagnostic Assessment & Second Opinion

Diagnostic clarity can be essential for everything from applying for benefits and services to the direction and focus of treatment in the future. In this service, a two hour assessment is completed and a written letter discussing the diagnosis is provided.

Professionals in high-stress, busy positions sometimes require what is considered "high touch" or especially individualized care. Invictus can create a custom experience for those who need something more than traditional therapeutic support.

Carisa is an experienced and well-liked supervisor for both pre-licensure social workers obtaining hours towards licensure as well as independently licensed clinicians seeking regular case consultation, particularly in the area of trauma and trauma-informed care.

Organization Evaluation

If you want your company or organization to have a trauma-informed approach but aren't sure where to start, an organizational evaluation may be for you. Carisa will visit your office in person over the course of 2-3 days and generate a comprehensive report filled with concrete, actionable steps. 6 and 12 month follow ups are available.
